Sherece Herman:

Shirlyn sits down to speak with this strong and inspiring woman.

Sherece Herman is a senior HR Manager at the international HUB Parking Technology SA where she has worked for 7 years. Her work portfolio has seen her travel to a whopping 52 countries around the globe, working outside of South Africa from different regions for most of the year.


Sherece holds two decades of experience in Human Resource Management, she manages Health and Safety, ISO, EE, BBBEE and learnerships for the South African Office.


Born and raised in Johannesburg, Sherece grew up with her Mum and brother and now shares a home with her Dad. She began her studies shortly after high school and despite facing several personal tragedies along the way, she hasn't looked back.

In 2010, Sherece had the heartbreaking experience of losing her son in childbirth and in 2020 she lost her mother to cancer.

Still, she has overcome these obstacles with grace and remained committed to consistently educating herself, and aiding the development of young people and communities in need.

Sherece is part of the Strategic Planning for the South African branch of HUB Parking Technology, as well as its implementation on an international level.

In this episode of Bright Her, Sherece shares her experience in Human Resources and her aspirations for community development in her home country of South Africa.
